  • Pro/Con of Virtualisation

Does anyone have a good article/paper on the pros and cons of server virtualisation in a production environment (not testing/development).
    TIA

Iím honoured to have been selected for the SMB 150 list for 2013. This is the third time in succession (no logo available for 2011) that I have been honoured with this award.

Sorry Steven you will need to sift through links to find the info that will support your request. http://www.google.com.au/search?sour...e+city+council

I do remember when this happened, the city council had 82 physical servers and with Virtualisation they were hoping to knock it down to about 5. It would also take them several months to test and deploy a new server configuration running their software. With Virtual, they were looking at less than 2 weeks.

I'll see if I can narrow the search down a bit later today.
