Possible, yet painfully slow. The new VM Additions make a difference, yet it's nowhere close to the performance of XP as a VM.

Re: Windows Vista on Virtual PC?

Took me 1 hour to install Vista on Virtual PC 2004 compared to 25 minutes normally. I also read that installing the Virtual Server VM Additions would make it run better. Don't know if it i true as I haven't tried that yet.

Well ive got the new additions and it hasn't made a huge diff! Still unbearably slow! Ill have to install it ona 'real' PC it seems.

Just like I said. It's painfully slow.
