  • Changing VirtualBox boot options

    Hello,

I am trying to change the boot options of a VM.

So, I went to VirtualBox site and saw this command: VboxManage modify "SCCM" --boot<1-4> dvd|disk|net|none

But this error message appears: The system cannot find the file specified.

I believe it might refer to the word SCCM, so I removed the quotations, I also tried with quotations, and also with the VM's UUID.

I read that I must run the command from this path: c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox>

and so I do, but no success.

    Any ideas?

Would you mind posting your solution so other people can benefit from it?

Probably changed SCCM to the name of his VM?

In fact a quick look at the commands shows taht this is the wrong command anyway.

I would suggest that it should have been something like, could be wrong though as i don't actually have a virtualbox installation.

VboxManage modifyvm "SCCM" --boot 1 DVD

          Ohh, I am so sorry,

I forgot to post the solution, it was something very obvious, but it was some days ago.... I really apologize !

Maybe is what Wullied pointed: "modifyvm" , and I wrote "modify"

Again: My apologies. It won't happen again.
