  • Assigning IP to VMs

Im new to the concept of virtualization. Ive Windows server 2008 r2 as base os. On that ive 2 vms(2003, RHEL 4.0). one NIC card. should ive to provide the seperate static ip address for both VMs to access in local network.

Can i able to provide public ip for vm?

    Re: Assigning IP to VMs

VMs can have their own IP addresses.
If you are not using NAT, I see no reason you can't give them public IPs
Alternatively you can port forward from a NAT router to the internal IP of the VM
