  • VHD limited Space in a file share cluster

    HI there!

    I've a a Hyper-v cluster with two servers and no S.A.N. just for testing,by now.The witness is a file-share.
I followed the guidelines posted here , Everithing seemed to going well...
I created an 2008 VM installed to test IIS and remote apps, the "Live migration" works fine, IIS is working, remote apps too...but, now I'm facing a problem that I'm not seeing reason for.

The Virtual Hard disk is configured to dinamically expand with a limit of 127GB,
Now the VM has 19.9GB ocuppied and 1.4GB Free....the .vhd file has 14 GB and the pc where its located is a Vista and has 20 GB free...

The Servers$ have full control over the folder on the Vista$ as well as the clustername$.

I expanded the VHD to 200GB but the situatio is the same.

    Thanks for the help.

I guess wha I am reading is that dynamic hard drive is not automatic expanding correct?

Thanks for the answer, it's already solved. What happened was that somehow I installed Windows on a 20 GB Partition, so that's Why it would let me use more Space!
I expanded C: and the limitations disapeared.
