  • Do I Need CAL's for accessing SAP Services?

    Hi,

We have installed two SAP applications on Windows Server 2012 R2 hyper-v guest OS running on top of host also running Windows Server 2012 R2. Apart from Hyper-V we are not using any other Windows based services (like, AD, DHCP, DNS etc.,).

Do we need to buy any kind of licenses for this usage scenario

    Thanks!

From my experience you will SQL licences for your SAP connections. I know for a fact that we require these licences for all users who use our SAP instances.

It would however be worthwhile chatting with SAP and getting a definitive answer.
