    Hello everyone, I have a server running windows server 2012 r2 and I'm am trying to create a Volume Shadow Copy on my S:/ Drive but I get the following error.
    "Failed to create a shadow copy of volume S:\ . Error 0x80042306. The shadow copy provider had an error. Check the system and application event logs for more information.
    I see this error in the application logs
    Event id:12289
    "Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error DeviceIoControl(\\?\Volume(095dedf6-dfe5-412d-9908-8c405ec90f85} - 0000000000000180,0x0053c008,00000011271fa760,0,000 00011271fb770,4096,[0]). hr = 0x80070057, The parameter is incorrect."

    Some thing to note:
    This is a completely brand new install on windows server 2012 r2
    The drive I am trying to create a shadow copy consist of 24 drive in raid 60 (hardware raid using megaraid sas 9280-24i4e)

    I was able to enable volume shadow copy after formatting the drive and change file system from NTFS to REFS (before I could not even enable it; This was on a previous installation)
    I am able to enable and create a VSS on my C:/ Drive
    Their is 65TB available on the S:\
