  • Domain Authentication Across the Web

    Hello,

I have a client that are all remote users with no office or active directory, we are starting to go down the road of upgrading the hardware, which of course will be Windows 8 and I thought I read somewhere that you can now have domain authentication and any AD policy updates across the web without VPN. All that was needed was Windows server 2012 and Windows 8. I think it's with AD FS but I cannot find the document that I had previously read. I was thinking about trying it with my private cloud and a couple Windows 8 machines and was wondering if anyone else has heard of or has implemented such a thing?

    Thanks in advance.

So upon investigation, what were you able to find? Were you able to test out Direct Access? If so, how did it go?
