    Hi ,

    i am facing a problem on my Dell R720 Server, i am working on windows server 2012 R2

    an orange led appear in disk 0 and i tried to change it with another disk but server not bootup, if i return the old disk system working good.

    the configuration of RAID is RAID 5 with 3 disk storage SAS 300 GB 15K.

    i am afraid of disk 0 after sometimes will stop and can't do anything, please what should i do to replace it with new disk and keep system up

    Assuming you have the relevant software installed for your RAID controller (Dell OpenManage IIRC) you should be able to get more info and, from the Operating System, mark the disk as unavailable, then reboot and check it works before replacing the disk
