  • Windows 10 Mapped Drives - asking for credentials-Windows 2012R2

    Hi,

    I have a number of windows 10 machines(upgraded from windows 7) on a network with a windows 2k12 R2 server.
    Mapped drives keep getting disconnected.
I have tried mapping it via cmd prompt, within windows "map network drive" and also using group poilicy - User Configuration - Windows Settings - Drive maps.
They all map but when you reboot - the drive sometimes(most times) ask for the credentials for that user and when you try to access it after you logon.

I have disable IPv6, Windows Updates are all applied but still it radomly asks for credentials?

    Has anyone experience this?
Any help would be appreciated - this is going on for months now and I am pulling my hair out?

Are the clients (and server) domain members?
If they are, is there any clock skew with the DC? (OK, strictly with the PDC Emulator FSMO holder...)
