  • Terminate/Log off disconnected Users

    hi

i have a a lot of servers 2012 in VM enviorment

my users log in to the servers with Vsphere (i dont think it is relevant to my problem...)

somtimes users log on to a server and forget to log off and they stay disconnected on the server.

is there any GPO/script to terminate the sessions of these users without restart the server/s ? or a GPO/script that force all users to log off?

    thanks

    Elad

Searching for the most basic terms of Group Policy and Terminal Server, I found this for you:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/...(v=ws.10).aspx

    That should answer your question.

Would using logon hour restrictions work for you? Staff would be automatically logged off when the restriction came into force (i.e. when their allowed time expired).

          How about this solution:

batch - How can I automatically log out users from a Windows machine? - Super User

            Thank for the responses.
With that batch file a friend of mine wrote a powershell script that do the job
once a day I run a batch file (Task Scheduler) that execute the ps script
