  • Have external trust in place, users can't log in via RDP

I set up an external trust between two domains, Domain A and Domain B.
Domain A has an outgoing trust, while Domain B has an incoming trust. I'm also using selective authentication.

I have three servers in Domain A,
Server01 (has the remote desktop sessions host role)
Server02 (has the remote desktop sessions host role)
Server03 (does not have the emote desktop sessions host role)

Users from Domain B are able to log in just fine on Server 03. And they were able to log in just fine on Server 01 and Server 02, until I added the Remote Desktop Session Host role on those two servers. Now if a user from Domain B tries to log on to Server 01 or Server 02, they get the following error message

The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

All three servers reside in the same OU, and are receiving the same GPOs and settings. Any idea what could be causing this?

You said you're using selective authentication. Before RDS was installed, when you say that users from B were able to log on to 01 and 02, how did the users log on? Using RDP? Or was it local logon?
    Cheers,
