  • Backup Replication

    Hi ,

We are using windows server 2012 and about 45 vm inside it. Now we are using Veam Backup software free edition , its working fine. Its taking a full backup using Veeam Zip. We are taking a backup in NAS Drive. Now we want to implement remote site backup so protect from physical disaster..

We are having a office at two locations , which are connected using 16 MBPS P2P line , and we want to keep a backup at the another side. Our full backup size is about 1 TB and incremental will be around 5 GB daily including all servers..So can anyone suggest a good backup tool , which can work on incremental backup and reliable fast recovery on complete vm , when required as same as Veeam backup.

DFS to replicate the backed up data (will have to be from the server, not the NAS drive) and Veeam at both ends (since I doubt you will actually want to spend any money on the solution)?

I am surprised at the amounts of data - 45 VMs only generating about 5Gb of changes per day seems awfully low.
