  • ADDING A CHILD DOMAIN IN FOREST TREE

    Scenerio is:
    Domains

    DC
    uaeexchange.edu

    AD DC
    uaeexchange.edu

    CHILD DC
    shj.uaeexchange.edu
    dxb.uaeexchange.edu

    AD Domain Tree
    uaeexgtravel.tur

    AD Domain Tree CHild
    ind.uaeexgtravel.tur

I have completed all the steps until AD Domain Tree uaeexgtravel.tur but when I am trying to create the AD Domain Tree child to uaeexgtravel.tur unable to do it. I am able to ping the dns but can't join it.

At forest level access provided the credential of main forest which is uaeexchange.edu, in parent domain provided uaeexgtravel.tur and in child provided IND. Screenshot is attached for the error.

On the planned DC for the new domain, can you ping the infrastructure master by NetBIOS and FQDN?
Do you have enterprise admin permissions?

How long did you wait before attempting to add the child in the new tree?

Is AD replication and NTFRS/DFSR replication working properly?
