    Gentlemen ,
    today i have configured raid 5 on my hp server , what my question is shall i make two partition if i make it will i loose raid 5 feature ? please explain .

    Sorry, but I don't understand the question

    If you have configured RAID 5 in the server BIOS, windows volumes will be on the RAID 5 array
    If you have configured it in Windows (software RAID) it will be per volume

      If you are talking about hardware RAID, No, you will not.

      You can create two Windows partitions but that's a logic change. Think about Win partitions as 2nd layer or ways to split available space. Your RAID is the 1st layer. Anything on top of your physical layer will remain on RAID5.
