It is available for MSDN and Technet subscribers. Other ways of getting a copy are outlined here:

However, I have been subscribed to the Technet newsletter, and have received a subscription confirmation, and nothing else, in about 4 months!

I see.... after a bit of research, I find you can only get it if you pay.... Technet appears to be vastly different from Technet plus.

I can do no better than quote a Linux fan:
Linus Torvalds said; Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems.

          Re: beta. Where from?

Yes Technet is just downloads, technical training and service packs etc, while Technet Plus also includes no time limit evaluation software, and betas.

However Im a Technet Plus subscriber and I still havent had Longhorn Server beta yet, and Im really desperate to try it. Hopefully it'll come in June's shipment

You can now download or order Vista Beta 2 from Microsoft:

Edit: this ought to be under the vista forum.

I agree with wired upon the following link, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...y/preview.mspx
But while I was there, I also saw this:

Update as of June 9, 12:00PM PST:
We are experiencing extremely high download demand at this time. The wait time to start the download is very long and many customers may be unable to access the download site. To guarantee participation in the Customer Preview Program (to receive both Beta 2 and RC1) we recommend you use the DVD kit order option above.

...and from other sources I found this: http://www.vistatorrent.com/bt/btdow...VD.iso.torrent
              Hang on, and this: http://www.vistatorrent.com/
Note: I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the link, nor of it's legality.
To sum it up, Bittorrent is known to be:
              A;fast, and
              B;mostly illegal.

                Re: beta. Where from?

There's already been a statement from MS stating that they won't release it on BT, can't remember why though.

VistaTorrent.com looks to be set up by Chris Pirillo.

                  Re: beta. Where from?

Received my June shipment from Technet and STILL no Longhorn Server

Is it just me or have they not included it in any regions yet?

It annoys me that on this page

                  http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserv...n/default.mspx

It says "Get the beta by subscribing to Technet Plus"

Havent even received a Vista Beta 2 or Office 2007 betas yet...dont matter so much as they are freely downloadable now, but im wondering what Im actually paying my money for!

                    Re: beta. Where from?

TechNet states that "Windows Vista Beta 2 was released after your June issue was being prepared for shipment" and it will be sent out with the next regular update. I am guessing that this will most likely be the case for Longhorn Server and Office 2007 beta versions as well.
