  • Netlogon error from DCDIAG

Can anyone give me an idea where to start here on fixing these issues? I just started here and just started peeling back the onion on this location's network and system infrastructure. There are a lot of problems here from the problems you see here in this diagnosis of this 2008 Active Directory server, almost zero documentation, to network issues beyond belief. I first noticed the netlogon error that the 2008 server is having.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Did you run the cmd as an administrator?

My user is part of "Administrators", and "Domain Admins".

But, when I logged on as "Administrator" all tests came back fine except "ISTG" which failed.

Strange, but good call! I guess there are deeper issues going on here?

        Re: Netlogon error from DCDIAG

I appreciate that, but did you use 'Run as administrator' when launching the cmd window?

        Start
        Type cmd
Right-click cmd.exe when it appears in the search list and choose 'Run as administrator'

        [Edit]
        Whoops - ignore that

            Re: Netlogon error from DCDIAG

Looking into this there are many threads/articles that all say that you must use Run As Administrator when opening cmd.exe

Can you confirm you have tried that?
