  • Grant permission to run Scheduled tasks and to run WBADMIN backup in all Additinal DC

    Hi
I have created one user to run system state backup using WBADMIN. And it is scheduled task.
    DC: Windows Server 2008R2 Ent.

This task has to run in all additional DCs.
I have added this user to below groups
    1. Backup Operator 2. Server Operator 3. Domain Users

But in scheduled task console, I am getting popup as below

" Task Scheduler cannot apply your changes. The user account is unknown,
the password is incorrect. or the user account does not have permission to modify the task"

I have unchecked the "Password Never Expires".

Make sure you are entering the user name as domain\username

Why not run the task as the domain admin?

I use Task Scheduler to run a batch file containing a command that backs up the system state to the D: drive

    wbadmin start systemstatebackup -backuptarget: -quiet

I'm sure you've seen it, but just in case: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/.../cc742124.aspx
