  • What is best solution for NIC teaming?

    Hello,

What is the best way to make NIC teaming on servers "2008 R2 OS", i tried BACS Broadcom teaming management software but there is some problem with it.
So there is any software or configuration to make teaming on servers.

    your help highly appreciated

    Thanks

I've used the Broadcom teaming drivers on several occasions, and if there is "some problem" with them, I certainly haven't seen any signs of it. Would you care to elaborate?

I've also used teaming drivers from HP/Intel without issue. The biggest (and perhaps only?) disadvantage with not having native teaming support in the OS, is that you can't have adapters from different vendors/manufacturers as part of the same aggregation group.

Agree with Ser Olmy. I've personally used the Broadcom app on at least 20 server installs that required it and have had zero issues getting it working.
