  • Using notepad to create a batch file

    I am trying to install the following Roles on the server using notepad, how can I write a file in notepad to install these roles DHCP, DNS, Print Services and Hyper-V?

    Help is much needed thanks

    You write the necessary PowerShell "Install-WindowsFeature" commands in a Notepad document, and save it with a .ps1 file extension by putting the entire file name in quotes in the Save dialog box ("myfile.ps1").

    (I must say, this sounds a bit like a school assignment.)

      It is but I am new to all this and I have been researching and needed to know if I was on the right track. Thanks for the help
