  • Disable/Enable user account account on remote server/pc over the network

    Hello Experts,

    Can any1 redirect me to right and simplest way to achieve my requirement

    I have 4 servers - windows 2008 viz : Server A , B , C , D

    every server has a user <tester>

    Now from Server A i need to disable and enable user <tester> for a given time everydayt on Servers : B/C/D

    wondering if any script would get this done easily

    is this an AD environment ?

      There is no AD as of now . but i can go for it : if there is a simple and easiest way to achieve the requirement!!!

        Active Directory will allow you to centrally manager the user accounts and use the same user across multiple servers.

        But if you want to go the stand-alone route, you should be able to put together some powershell scripts to enable and disable the users.

          Right click my computer and select manage
          Right click computer and in left pane and manage another computer
