  • Windows 2008 R2 File Service Issue

I am a system administrator in our organization. We have a Windows Server Domain environment network. I'm facing an issue with the network where, after logging into Domain Network, the Domain client system gets disconnected from File Services 2 times a day. If the affected user logs in again on his system then he/she would able to access the file server.

What might be the reason behind this error, and how do I solve this problem?

Can you give us a little more info, please?

Are these connections local or remote?
Do they happen at the same time each day?
Have you checked the event logs on a domain controller, the file server, and the clients? If so, are any events present when the disconnection occurs?
Are the computers being actively used when the disconnection occurs (i.e. is it due to a power-saving setting that shuts down the NIC)?
Are the network cables secure, or if wireless, is there a strong signal?
