  • Off-line Patch Update

I would like to update the Windows 2008 R2 server with all the latest security patches without WSUS and without the Internet. Is there any way to achieve this? Sorry if it's a absurd.

Yes. I've never used it but there is a utility called WSUS Offline Update. It allows you to download what you need and then transfer it to another PC.

There are videos and documentation available.

When running on your target server, you can initiate the update program, set it to reboot when needed and it will reboot to finish installing a round of updates, log back in and re-initiate update installation. It will keep doing this until all updates are installed, so you can work on something else as this runs.
