  • Stop client users to access server.

    Dear Fellows,

    How i can stop users / clients to stop access server. Shared folder easily specific user can access.

    But in another case, users able to reach other folders by IP Address. How I can fix this security issue. please assist me in details.

    You have users that can access what folders by IP address??

      all folders, which is shared with specific users.

        Check your share and ntfs permissions - in general users can see a share (but you can remove the everyone group and put in a more restricted one) but NTFS should stop them seeing content

          Another one, how I can make log, which user / client accessing the server for shared data.

            Assuming you are using Active Directory, enable Object Access Auditing in a domain level GPO, then enable auditing of particular events in the advanced security properties of a file or folder
