  • Shared Folders and Permissions

    Hi Guys,

    I need a help...

    I have this folder structure:

    Shared_Customer
+FolderA (Only users on group FolderA can reach)
    +-Dep1 (Permission Dep1 RW)
    +-Dep2 (Permission Dep2 RW)
    +-Dep3 (Permission Dep3 RW)
+FolderB (Only users on group FolderB can reach)
    +-Dep1 (Permission Dep1 RW)
    +-Dep2 (Permission Dep2 RW)
    +-Dep3 (Permission Dep3 RW)

    What I need to do

    - Some users can reach FolderA and another users can reach FolderB.
    - But for each Folder I have common departments, which have all users from this department in this group
    - If UserA is member of FolderB and Dep1, browsing the files he only reach FolderB -> Dep1. The same for UserB which is member of BolderB and Dep1.

But my problem is... If UserB know the full path to reach Dep1 from FolderA, the access is allowed, which I can't allow it.

Anyone have an idea how to solve it?

    Thanks a Lot!

    Regards.
