    Dears ,

I have a regular Fax machine and i need to forward all the incming faxes to an e-mail adress .....i still don't know how i can do that .

i thought of installing a fax modem in a server running windows server 2008 and i think using the Fax role it should work .

the main issue is there are no slots available for a fax modem in my server so i'm thinking of an external fax modem .

in case of using external fax modem , is it enough? ... i mean can the external fax iteself work on redirecting all the incoming faxes to the required e-mail address ?

can you please advice a brand

    Thanks

    Re: Fax Server

You are going to need some software as well as the modem - this may be the server fax service, which allows routing of incoming faxes (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...(v=ws.10).aspx) or may be third party

No problems with a USB modem -- can you get internal modems these days?

But faxes are sooooo twentieth century
