  • Domain Functional Level

    Hi,
    Little question:
We want to move to the Domain Functional Level: Windows Server2008r2
    (Today we are in 2003)
Will there be a problem to stations win98,95 to connect ?

    Re: Domain Functional Level

By the look of it, yes, but there may be workarounds
(review this, to start with: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...a-27fd392e8556)

Why do you need to let such an old OS access the domain anyway?

EDIT, also look at this thread: http://forums.petri.com/showthread.php?t=37762

I've already tried what is written there, did not help.

We have such a Station With a special controller only works with windows 98 not working with a later os
replacing the conroller Will be a high cost we can not afford to.
