  • Shared Folder in a Cluster Issue (after adding a new disk)

    Hi All,

I have added a New Disk to an Existing Windows 2008 Cluster, now i want to create a share folder in this new drive; but i am facing an issue while i am creating the share: below is the message i am getting:

An error occured while trying to share TEST. The cluster resource could not be found.
The shared resource was not created at this time.

    Any ideas to resolve this?
    Many thanks in advance!

are you creating it on the cluster node that currently holds the volume active ?
