    hi

    i have wds server and file server configured in same machine.
    my Q is that how can i hide the sysvol, netlogon and reminst folders from network
    when i write \\and ip of my file server i can access the files i have shared and these as well. help me please.

    Is the WDS server also a DC? If so, a visible SYSVOL and NETLOGON is required (or you will break AD) so the only option is to unDCPROMO the box.

    Not sure about reminst but from the name, it is probably a required component of WDS

        Reminst is indeed the WDS distribution share, so hiding/removing that will break WDS. When you provide credentials during a WDS install this share is what you are authenticating against.
