  • web Monitoring suggestions

Im using windows 2008r2 in a domain environment

May I ask help/recommendations on the following:

    1. Is there a way i can block certain sites in a specific time
    2. Is there a way i can block online chats

Can MS TMG do this or i need third party software?

    thanks

    Re: web Monitoring suggestions

    Need more info really.
Is it from this machine or lots of machines. How strict do you need to be?
Websense is a good product and can do all you ask. I don't know if TMG has an optional plugin for site blocking as such although it can quite easily block destination etc.
    cheers
    Andy

We use an iPrism appliance inline for this purpose.

NOTE: I am not affiliated in anyway with the company. The device was in when i started.

I always use a hardware firewall, i use Cisco or Sonicwall at my customers sites
they do the Job good but it is also more expensive.
