  • Weird DNS Issue

I'm having DNS Issues at a client's site.

What I've found (most likely) to be the problem is the following:

Once in the properties for the DNS Server and in the INTERFACES Tab, I see nothing listed.

Whether I select ALL IP ADDRESSES or ONLY THE FOLLOWING, the window below is empty.

Normally I'd expect to the the IPV4 and IPV6 Addresses for the Server's NIC.

I've spent an hour or two searching for resolutions to this problem, but I've found nothing.

If I enable the Servers second NIC, I can see those IP Addresses listed. I am not using the second interface and would prefer to disable it.

Tonight after the customer and all employees are gone, I plan on removing and then re-installing the DNS Server Role, just hoping that's not necessary.

    Thanks for any ideas,

    Paul
