    Hello everyone,

    I currently have a 2008 R2 file server setup and attempting to redirect users documents back to it. All of my clients are Windows 7 machines.

    I have my GPO set to create a folder under the root path and it is pointing to \\fileserver\employees. I am seeing most of my users have had folders created. However, when I look inside their my documents folder there are no files inside. I did not grant them exclusive rights to their documents.

    I have the "Employees" folder shared out to domain users with FULL CONTROL. And under the advanced security settings the user is the Owner of the folder and has full control and also the CREATOR OWNER has full control.

    But when I look at the clients machines, even though the GPO has been set, the documents properties are still pointed locally, and I have no idea why the GPO is not taking affect even though the users folders are being created. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated.
