  • Problem Windows 2008 r2 Remote Desktop Services

I have a Windows 2008 r2 Server with Remote Desktop Services installed. Remote access has been working but with some issues. The problem is that some RDP clients trying to access from the internet can not.

What I discovered is that if I establish RDP from the Server to one of my other machines (that is having problems connecting remotely to the Server) stop the session then I try to RDP from my other machine back to the Server I can establish an RDP session. If I close the RDP connection from my other machine to the Server and wait 3-5 minutes, and then try to reconnect it can not.

Any ideas how to resolve this are appreciated.

Are you in admin mode, and if so, are you hitting the two connection limit?

Anything in event logs on either side?
