  • 2008 R2 STOP error

    I have a HP G5 series server running Windows 2008 R2.
All of a sudden it stops responding to network requests. I can not ping/connect. There is link on the NIC, however the status shows 0 bytes in/out.

When I give the restart command it takes a long time and then after 5-10 minutes ends up in BSOD with Error Code 0x09F DRIVER STATE POWER FAILURE.

How can I investigate this further?

      Re: 2008 R2 STOP error

Memory dump reader points it to OS KERNEL.
Next I will try HP firmware update for all devices.
