  • Upgrading W2003 Domain with Ex. 2007 to W2008

Hello all, I currently have a Windows 2003 Domain running natively AD. My 2003 Domain also has an Exchange 2007 SP1/Rollup 10 Server in it. Does anyone know of any potential issues I might run into if I introduce a Windows 2008 DC into the mix? I know I need to AD prep the domain, but my bigger concern is blowing up my Exchange server once I prep the domain for 2008. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you all.

There should be no issues at all -- the schema updates will not conflict.
Of course you should have a good backup of your DC (or if you have an additional DC, take it off line) before you start.
