  • SQL Server 2008 Cluster performance problem

    Hi,
    I have configured SQL Server 2008 Cluster but SQL performance is very slow than my existing SQL server, Is it normal or problem. Please share any exparience.

    Can you define very slow?
    (compared with what?)

    What back end storage are you using -- that is often the cause of cluster performance problems.

      NetApp Storage is used.

        not very but visible slow, and the storage is NetApp.

          What is your setup?
          Are you using fibre channel, iSCSI, FCoE, or SAS for your SAN?
          How many disks are in the aggregate your volume is on?
          How full is the NetApp Filer?
          Have you looked at the perfmon data for the disks?
          Do you have MPIO setup?

            UTP Cable, and 12 disk are in aggregation each 2 TB.
