  • Help in configuring IIS In 2008 server

I am trying to upgrade my web server from win 2003 to win 2008 server in cloud platform. So can anyone guide me how to deploy a web site from 2003 to 2008 in cloud. Will this make a difference in performance when we deploy a website in cloud. Also can you tell to configure a .net based application in windows 2008 server.

I think you need a consultant to do this for you.

The cloud is nothing more than remote hosting, generally virtualized. The cloud provider is just providing you with a service, so you actually do not own, manage, or touch any physical components of that infrastructure.

What your main concern should be is the actual migration of your web app from IIS 6-IIS 7. You can test this at your location prior to moving to the "cloud".

With regard to deploying, managing, etc.. in the cloud, check with the provider.
