  • AFP/SFM macintosh files problem - migration to 2008 from 2003

In server 2008 server stupid microsoft remove support for AFP/SFM macintosh file server support. I have overfilled 2003 server with mixed mac pc files. But, we have new storage on 2008 and I have problem. HOW TO MIGRATE TO NEW STORAGE WITHOUT AFP/SFM SUPPORT???
One solution is to zip all folders to individual archives but I have 8TB data.
I cant buy thirty party solution like extrem-z which is very expensive.
Maybe is solution to create isci target on new server 2008 and mount this vhd target to local 2003 like local hdd. This is simple extension to current capacities but I dont know if thiswill work.

If you just copying the data from 2003 to 2008, can't you just use SMB?
