  • mapping printer from 2003 to 2008 thru rdp

    hi,
    i am doing rdp from one 2003 server to 2008 64bit server.
    all is good but....
    when i am trying to map a printer thru the rdp session, its failed.
    i thinnk that its got to do that i am using 2003 32bit drivers
    and they aint fitting to the 2008 64bit server .

    plz help

    You can install 32 bit drivers on the Server 2008 box -- go into printer properties and it is on the sharing page, IIRC

    Alternatively you can pre-install the drivers on your 32-bit machine -- go into Printers, then goto FILE--SERVER PROPERTIES and go to the DRIVERS tab
