  • backup to the NAS Drive

    Hi ,

We are using Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition and seagate blackarmor nas 110 to copy the backup files. Now when i am trying to schedule a backup using a windows server backup to my NAS Drive , it gives error that you must need an additional local drives connected ...so do i must have to connect and additional SATA Drive and or external USB Hard drive connected to the server.

I have 2 HDD with RAID 1 implemented on it..

Is there any other ways to schedule a backup to my NAS Drive.

    Thanks,

    Kathy

Does it have to specifically be a RAR file? I believe 7Zip can do the compressed file and it is free unlike WinRAR.
