When our server 2008 starts at the post screens it states log files full. Could someone please advise how to clear the log files. I have checked the log files and the messages don't seem to have anything of concern in them so I would like to clear them so this message doesn't display any longer and we can start a fresh.

should jujst be able to righyt click on them and "clear logs"

however, you could also consider increasing the size.

Just be careful, if a DC cannot log security events, it will shut itself down..

Thanks for the help, looks like the best bet would be to increase the log file size.

Which can be done through Group Policy if required (assuming you are in a domain)
