  • Windows 2008 won't allow connection from other domain

    Greeting,
I have problem after replacing my windows 2003 with windows 2008 in A domain,
Before (With windows 2003) I was able to access the server from B domain.
Now I can not access the windows 2008 server from B domain.

There is a Cisco firewall between the two domain, but I am giving my self a full privilege to access the B domain.

Any idea about the solution ??

    Thank you

can you please explain your question a little bit more i.e. domain structure e.g parent-child, or two different domain in different forests or priamry and secondary(addtional or backup) domain. also is it on the same network or not?

      Hi devil

      They are two different networks
domain (A) IP address is 193.3.x.x
domain (B) IP address is 10.8.x.x
The windows firewall is disabled in the server with windows 2008 in domain (A)

Within the same domain (A) I am able to access to the domain remotely with win2008

Is there any thing to deal with windows 2008 policy.

      Thanks Devil

Ping domain A from domain B and vice versa, also if there is a firewall then check the traceroute command from domain B to domain A. Also post the output of traceroute command.
