  • NLB Add Port Options Greyed out

    Hi All,

I have created NLB W2K8 R2 cluster with two node. Testing went fine however i noticed that i cann't modify or add an new port rules. The options are greyed out. As per the requirement i am local administrator on each node. For the test purpose i have used by domain admin creds to verify but still the same. Anything that i am missing on.

I have attached the screenshot of what i am facing. Hope this will help in understanding the issue.

Re: NLB Add Port Options Greyed out

    Update # 1

I was looking at the wrong place. To control the port. Need to go to cluster property and manage from there.

SInce in W2K3 you can manipulate port rules on individual host, but as the requirement goes. Port rules must be same across all NLB nodes, so may be that's why port rule options are greyed out on individual nodes and only enabled at whole cluster level as global parameter with an expection of Load Balance.
