  • WIndows 2008 error "network path was not found"

    Hi all,

Am having an issue. Trying to join two servers both running windows server 2008 enterprise edition.
They are on two different networks, 10.0.0.x/24 and 192.168.0.x/24.
The servers are :-One can reach each server through remote desktop, can ping both servers, they have two different public IP but the necessary ports have been forwarded to the servers from the routers

When I try join one of the servers to the other primary domain, it gives me an error "network path was not found" and have ensured the DNS records are setup, when I perfom nslookup, it gives me the name of the primary server.

Any help would be highly appreciated

    Regards

Try joining using the FQDN (server.domain.corp) rather than the netbios name, also try putting in static routes to the "other" network on each side
