  • Folder Access Denied

I am trying to setup a GPO login script. Using the information from this page.
    yourwebsite/setting-up-logon-script-through-gpo-windows-server-2008.htm

I am stuck on this step.

    yourwebsite/images/logon_script_gpo_8.gif

When I try to copy the login script to the folder I get access denied.

The path is domain\policies\#\machine\user\doc & settings\scripts\logon but I just cant copy anything into it.

I got to the folder by clicking on show files please help.

Sorry could not post the full url from your site because of this message.

    Re: Folder Access Denied

Do you have premissions to that folder? (IE, are you a Domain admin or higher?)

Also, if you are unable to copy files directly to that path, you should be able to "load" them Via the GPO editor, where you select the script.

Or I could possibly be mistaking what you are asking altogether.
