  • Network Error

    I have Win2008 Svr R2.

It connected to several client through local LAN.

Client can access to the server, but the server unable to access to the client.
Is there any setting need to be on because ping successful from both way.

At Network Places it only show the server itself, but not all the client.

      Re: Network Error

      tqvm,

it just a normal file sharing. The server unable to map to any client on the LAN.
Even the server itself can't map to itself (ex : \\svr_name or \\192.168.x.x)

All the client is using WinXP.
      No firewall involve. Flat network.

Seem like a basic function but I can't seem to rectify this.
