            Why bother?
Just have two (unclustered) DHCP servers with a split scope

                Clustering or split scope?

                Either way, will help
(although I have to say that if you do not know how to deploy a DHCP server, I would avoid most administrative tasks until you have received proper training and experience)

Are you the admin for your company???

If you are then you really should be doing this on your own. What you are asking is for us to do the leg work for you rather than you doing it yourself.

IMHO i see no need for a clustered DHCP server. Use the 80/20 split like Ossian has mentione or even use 2 with the same reservations.

                    Re: DHCP clustring ????

here are relevant steps to acheive your aim:

                    1. Decide whether you want to hire a permanent, qualified staff member, or a freelancer to complete this single project
                    2. decide on the specs for the candidate to complete this task
                    3. place advertisement to attract suitable candidates (on freelancer.com for instance)
                    4. review candidates
                    5. decide on a suitable candidate
                    6. commence contract with candidate
                    7. freelancer completes task
                    8. (this one is important) Pay the freelancer
                    9. thank freelancer for a job well done.
                    10. remember in future that if you need to ask for step by step instructions on how to do things like install dhcp, that you really should engage the services of a suitably qualified professional, rather than expecting it to be done for free

said, please feel free to send me an email, outlining how much you're prepared to pay for this to be configured, and the sort of time line you require the project delivered in.

I'll be happy to do it for you, at an appropriate cost.

He's saying either learn how to do it, hire him to do it, or find someone to hire to do it for you.
