Have they restarted after applying updates?

(Note it is very bad practice to leave a server logged on -- you should always log off at the end of a session)

The servers did not restarted after updates or something like that, they have to be log in all the time because the users used a specific application on them to choose their job to print.
the users cannot access to any other application but the utilty i mantion above.
i cant understand why after a while they log out.
