  • Restrict Users logging into another computer

    Gentlemen ,

    we are using windows server 2008 r2 as a domain controller , some users on the network logging into another user computers using their own username and password , so please help me to solve this issue and also users going to run and typing the user ip and c$ to view their files please help me to secure the pc.

    This is normal behaviour in AD, but you can set user account properties to allow logon to specific computers only.
    You could also look at restricted groups to limit local log ons (by default domain users can log onto any workstation in the domain)

        Open a web browser
        Enter www..com in the address bar
        Type "set user account properties to allow logon to specific computers" (or similar text) and press return
        Look at the generated links and select a likely candidate

        Alternatively, ask your butler to do it for you
