  • I Can't open RPM

    Hi,
I can't open Reliability and Performance Monitor on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server but only Performance Monitor.
It is missing from Administrative Tools?
    Any advice?
    Thanks

Click Start>Run type mmc and click OK

Click File>Add/Remove Snap-in... and choose the Reliability and Performance Monitor snap-in.

Click OK until you are back to the main screen. Then save it. It should appear in your Admin Tools list.

I have not tried this on my W2k8 server (not at work, yet), but have you tried running perfmon from a command window:

          Re: I Can't open RPM

In 2008R2 and Windows7 the Reliability Monitor has changed, it is called now "Reliability History".
You will find it Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center, under Maintenance, Check for solutions to problem reports (the View reliability history link).
Or, you can always open the Control Panel and write "reli" in the Search box .
          Good luck!
